What Teachers Do on a Daiy Basis

Althought t may seem that teachers are consumed on a daily basis by the needs of a classroom, teachers definately do have live outside of the classroom. It was a shock for me that the two ads that I found to incorporate into my essay were both so focused on trying to make the stereotypes about teaching true. Teachers actually have ives outside the classroom which include "normal" things and activities. I found that it would probably be easier if they had advertised these points rather than what the audience already knows abot the teacher, what he or she does in the classroom. This was slightly disconcerting because I feel that teachers lead normal lives outside of the classroom, despite what we may think (no, they don't sleep in their offices). However, this does not make the profession of teaching any less of a profession. Teachers must be well trained and have a high level of knowledge. Since this is what we have classified as the ramifications of what constitutes a profession, teaching is a profession.
